An odd place to find something about religion.

And tough language, too: "The decision is a major victory for the multiculturalists and Islamic apologists in California and across the country who've never met a culture or religion they didn't like -- with the exception of Western civilization and Christianity. They are legally in the clear to indoctrinate kids into the "peaceful" and "tolerant" religion of Islam, while continuing to denigrate Judeo-Christian values."

From later in the article:

"The ed consultant's name is Susan L. Douglass. No, she's not a Christian scholar. She's a devout Muslim activist on the Saudi government payroll..."

Looks like a "goose/gander" sort of situation to me. If it's a good idea to put a stop to sneaky Islamic indoctrination in public schools, you'd think it would be an equally good idea to do the same with sneaky Christian indoctrination. Yet you don't see the same folks cheering on lawsuits over Intelligent Design, Bible courses, or other issues that we keep hearing about.

It's a double standard. But that's hardly a surprise to me.

I have the 9th Circuit's website up, and cannot find any opinion rendered in such a case recently. The article is from "Investors.com", and has some pyramid scheme/scam diet program advertised on the banner. A search on Yahoo for "9th Circuit Court Islam schools" brought page after page of conservative diatribe, but no credible news source. The majot media would be all over this for selling papers and TV ads on their newscasts, if it were true. I suspect things are less than they seem.

I looked back through January and could not find an opinion in any such case. I may ahve missed it, but I really think we have a major case of rabble-rousing here.

If such a decision has actually NOT been rendered, I suggest, respectfully, you remove this one blog post, Nancy. Or at least edit it to show the accuracy (or, as I suspect, inaccuracy) of the source.
