Next up, female clergy?
Catholicism and the real world: "Church officials recently confirmed that Pope Benedict XVI had requested a report on whether it might be acceptable for Catholics to use condoms in one narrow circumstance: to protect life inside a marriage when one partner is infected with H.I.V. or is sick with AIDS."

how over 1 billion people put their faith in what one man says escaped logic for me. anyone really interested in the popes of the past and the sheenanigans they have perpetrated on the church, simply need only to do some research on the subject. i believe many catholics might change their opinion of the validity of what a mere man says and dictates to the flock.
there are many other communicable diseases transmitted thru sex other than aids, why shouldn't they also be covered by benedicts wave of the wand?
besides this many catholics (that i know) pick and choose which of the churchs edicts they follow, albeit they may be committimg mortal sin in so doing ! are they not worried over the consequences which their church says they face by doing so ? so is this a mute point what benedicts says?
