when one is looking to find an excuse to live together....it only requires at toothbrush.

yeah i know how tough it must be and how it must just wear you out to realize that your toothbrush is m.i.a. - geez talk about thin skinned - hopefully they will never misplace their car keys !

Buz has a point -- anyone who will decide to live in one place or another based on toothbrush issues sure sounds like the acme of shallow. Mind you, I have my shallow points as well, and being shallow is no crime as such.
Also, based on practical issues, I fully understand why marriage is not a top priority for many couples these days. It only concerns me that when children are involved, the shallowness of the domestic attachments is almost certain to harm the child-rearing process. That, more than anything, should be a cause for serious concern.
