Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. Psalm 100
Happy Thanksgiving to all.
What is often not mentioned in the melee of Bush-bashing, State-bashing, mayor-bashing etc, is that sin and depravity reaches into all areas of society, including individual sinners. As many commentators have rightly noted: there's enough blame to go around. Actually, it’s just business as usual for fallen humanity.

"Some say the church should take legal action."
I can't imagine what legal action they could take. If you give someone a gift, they have the right to do with it whatever they please. That's what the word means. Sure, it sounds like a rotten thing for this family to do. Now, if they can prove fraud by the family, sure; otherwise... it's a free country.
