We had a better than average gift-giving and time-with-family holiday. Sol Invictus is on His way back to rule the day sky. All is well... except for the dratted rain, of course. :)
I hope your day was as fine.

Yes, all the fam, kids, grandkids, et al., had a great day, enjoying the love of God with one another, worshipping the Prince of peace and thanking God for all His gifts of the past year. I truly hope you had a blessed and wondrous day as well.

We spent our first Dec 25 together as a new family. Quiet day of napping and singing and reading; exchanged gifts, yes. It's a secular celebration in this country, too, you know. We haven't decided how we'll share the various stories aroind this time of the year, but we still want to be a part of the collective good will and cheer. We certainly will continue our own tradition of giving to special causes that send aid abroad, too.
