Congratulations to this son for going on his own path in life. Sure, I don't agree with his theology, but I respect Punks generally. [:->

Whatever! Just another bizarre twist to a Faith searching for its contemporary moorings in a wierdo culture. But, as St. Paul opined: "Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice."
It would seem that the younger Bakker has done the pendular swing in order to either atone for his dad's failures, or to distance himself from what he probably views as straight, maudlin churchianity. I resonate with his desire for relevancy and honesty, but probably not his lifestyle or methodology - what of it I could gather from the article.
