it's a full time job pleasing one wife ( for me any way )- i personally can't understand why a man would subject himself to the rigors of maintaining multiple wives. the is no scriptural evidence to support God wanting men to have multiple wives but that didn't stop lamech (gen.4:19) from taking it upon himself to to so.....thought i would throw that in so as to make this a religious comment to this religious blog ?

Hey Buz,
Did you happen to look at this website? Because it is actually about female members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and how you can still be a feminist, Mormon, and be stay at home mom and it all works out. It has nothing to do with marrying more than one wife (neither does the Mormon church have anything to do with marrying more than one wife). In addition, I find much biblical precedent on marrying more than one wife, when under God's command. Think back to the Father of the Jews, Abraham (married Sarah, slept with Hagar), Isaac, and Jacob (Rachel, Leah, plus some servants led to twelve sons...). Perhaps we should really be giving Jews a hard time about polygamy, since they started it, or maybe Muslims (but that really isn't politically correct) since they're practicing it now. Oh wait, I think it would have to be all God's fault since it was under his command to begin with. I know we'll all have some questions to ask him in the next life. I just felt the need to clarify for everyone...Thanks!
