"1Ti 1:10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;"........
poor guy is only fulfilling the written word, right eh.....can't hold him responsible right, eh ?
imo God made penis's and vagina's for a reason, if He intended man with man, one would wonder why create Eve, eh ?!

If you look at history, buz, you'll see that there have been a LOT of changes in society that were opposed on the grounds that they were against the Bible. And there have always been plenty of folks like you who have tried to stand in the way. I predict you'll be swept away, just as the opponents to emancipation, women's voting rights and interracial marriage were.
In the meantime, you just mind what you do with your own penis, and let these other folks mind what they do, m'kay?

So, is this censorpship at last, or just a practical attempt to remove curse words or nasty langusge? I truly hope it is not the former.

This travesty of Christian morality only proves that lust is insatiable: a downward spiral into absolute apostasy and corruption. It is truly sad to see a great church descending to these depths.
"I predict you'll be swept away, just as the opponents to emancipation, women's voting rights and interracial marriage were."
Eric, the only thing that will be swept away by the judgments of Almighty God are those who oppose His eternal and absolute moral and spiritual truth.
Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven. Now this, Yet once more, indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire. (Hebrews 12.27)
Being swept away in a certain time frame does not always determine the correctness of something. The opponents of Hitler and Stalin and Genghis Khan were certainly swept away by them; and in their time they would have been considered correct by the terms of might makes right. The things you mentioned (emancipation, women's voting rights and interracial marriage) were NOT opposed to any Biblical moral precept.

"Eric, the only thing that will be swept away by the judgments of Almighty God are those who oppose His eternal and absolute moral and spiritual truth."
So you're saying that not only gay marriage will be done away with by your God, but the other things as well? I'll be interested to see all of those things happen, putting us squarely back in the Dark Ages.

Yes, most assuredly I am saying that gay "marriage" is ultimately doomed. God will have mercy on all who repent and believe the Gospel; but sin is doomed. He is only allowing this earthly regime to continue in order to bring millions more to eternal life, not as approbation of moral depravity.
In answer to your question as to whether the "other things" would be annuled as well. My implication was that these things were either approved by Scripture (the end of slavery) or were social conventions that were not ooposed by any specific moral law in Scripture. Marriage between covenant keepers and cov. breakers was forbidden in the OT, as it was in the NT as well. Moses took an Ethiopian woman.
Other issues, such as gay marriage and abortion are in an entirely different category and are destined, ultimately, to be judged by God and ended. Christians not only are for justice and human benevolence, and have been at the forefront of legitiamtely biblical causes.
Just because things are publicly approved and advanced for a time is NO proof of their legitimacy or moral soundness. And we are not destined for a return to any kind of darkness, but for the coming of the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. Sin IS spiritual darkness, but Jesus said: "I AM the light of the world."
