Christians embracing Scientology

"I'm looking for solutions, and the people that I help, they don't ask me who L. Ron Hubbard is," said the Christian pastor, who works with addicts. "You know what they say? 'Thank God.' "

"they do not see Scientology as a threat to their faith, but rather as a tool to augment it."...................
take a look at this link............................ http://www.xenu.net/archive/leaflet/xenuleaf.htm

if these people cannot see the threat, they need their spiritual eyesight checked. it seems they have lost their flavor and are willing to adapt to whatever it takes to advance their agenda.

"Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid."

if the salt and the flavor and light of the gospel isn't enough......i guess you go looking elsewhere to find something that gives a quick fix to the problem. all of this way foreseen in scripture and spoken of, so this does not surprise me as much as it confirms the authenticity of scripture.

Why would you post something like this?
If I wanted to know something about Christianity would I go to an Atheists website or read about the story of Jim Jones and all the people he killed, or even about the Salem Witch trials?

The information that you are posting has nothing to do with Scientology. You're going to websites and accepting on faith that what these people are saying is the truth, but in reality you aren't interested in the truth but propagating lies in order to make you feel right...

I have many friends that are both Christian and Scientologist...You don't have to be a Buddhist in order to practice meditation!

People have the freedom to choose what they want to believe in, and if they choose to believe in Mickey Mouse or mother goose, then that is their right...what right do I or anyone else have to say to the contrary?

Belief is based on faith not Fact. You can no more say that what I or anyone else believes is any less real or truthful...

Do you go around bashing Buddhists, Hindus, or Muslims?

Christians can't even agree with each other on what they believe how could any one be absolutely right? In Christianity you have Unitarians, Fundamentalist, Quakers, Catholics, Jehovah’s Witnesses etc. each are in some ways very different... Are you bashing these people too? The fact that you are singling out a Religion... and it is a Religion... is very disturbing... Hitler also did this and we see how that turned out!

Don't cast stones unless you are willing to looking in your own Christian Closet...

Vote for the Right and Freedom to Choose!

Sincerely,

Jeff T

Jeff, if you ever read this, I'd like to clear some misconceptions up here.

Firstly, Scientology is not a religion. It's a cult. There is a difference.

Your use of adhominem leads me to believe you are a Scientologist yourself. I say this because Scientology forces members to troll the internet, debunking any bad PR and clogging any forum with their unfounded responses. Things like comparing researching a cult to Hitler is just a commonplace example.

I am not going to spend a lot of time on this, but I would like to have you do me a favor. You say that Buz is spreading propaganda? Well how about we make an agreement. I will give you resources and you view them. They won't be from Propaganda. They will be legal documents or HCOB's (Hubbard Communication Office Bulletins). These are from the Creator of Scientology himself, L. Ron Hubbard. So, let us begin, and we'll allow the readers to decide if it's a cult or religion. Of course, I would love them to continue to research Scientology. You won't.

This one is nice. L. Ron Hubbard orders the uses of "Reverse Processing/Auditing" (cause a mental break in the person)
http://www.holysmoke.org/cos/plea-to-scientologists.htm
and R2-45 (Murder with the use of a Colt 45)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R2-45

Oh, and let's go with the whole "Scientology accepts other religions" thing.....

http://www.xenu.net/archive/media_vault/Nochrist.mp3
"Anyway, Everyman is then shown to have been crucified so don't think that it's an accident that this crucifixion, they found out that this applied. Somebody somewhere on this planet, back about 600 BC, found some pieces of R6, and I don't know how they found it, either by watching madmen or something, but since that time they have used it and it became what is known as Christianity. The man on the Cross. There was no Christ...."
