"Just because that's written in the Bible and not a business textbook, it's no less true." Actually, only because something is written in the Bible is it true, and a good idea. But, no mater how "sweet" an idea, if it's not clearly based on the full truth of the Bible, and done to the glory of God, it's not truly good.
Yeshua insisted on this MO, and on applying the litmus test of consistent biblical truth. But one should always acknowledge good works as being beneficial to the world, while striving always to make it pleasing to God. One has to examine closely what people are actually doing as good works in order to know whether to support them or not - like the TV religious moguls.

With that business philosophy Nikos, I can truly see why the US is in the economic situation we currently find.
Then again, there are supposed "non-Christian" nations that are thriving economically. So, how is that reckoned?

I am not saying that everyone, everywhere cannot make a buck (or a billion). Good business principles are neutral at the mechanical level. I am simply saying that our criteria for praising business leaders should be guarded, and should include biblical truths, and not just monetary ones. Seems to me that libs should love that idea too. But my take is distinctly Christian and biblical. Just because some business tycoon is monetarily successful does not mean that it is really good for people, or that we should worship at their progressivist feet.
