Accused of soliciting male 'prostitute.'

Prostitution, as bad as it is morally, is never called a "crime AGAINST nature." Meaning that, even to the casual observer, perverted sex acts are not natural, and are therefore rightly criminal in the eyes of the law - as they are in God's eyes.

I will not discuss the very evident misunderstanding of this issue because it would be futile. Just remember to research things.

As for the pastor in Charlotte, only he knows why he did what he is accused. I leave the matter for he, his biological and church family's to resolve. If he committed a sin, then God is faithful and just to forgive him if he asks. Remember, that is accordingly only if a sin were committed. Who are either of us to say if that happened?

Well, of course, bestiality maybe. I (like everyone else on this blog site) don't have time to "research" all the law books in the library. I mean, it's a blog, not a doctoral program. Desides, I wasn't speaking legally, but biblically.

According to biblical Law, you DO have a point, in that everything other than the covenanted union of man and wife is against the natural order of God's creation. So, whether the American legal system designates prostitution and adultery as "crimes against nature" along with homosexuality or not, they ARE - in this biblical sense.

But homosexuality is considered an abomination, and cited for special condemnation in Romans 1 by the apostle Paul.

First of all, a sin was definitely committed, or potentially to be committed. It is highly unlikely that this was a first time thing. He'd probably been doing it for some time.

And you are exactly right, Darryl. Neither of us has any right whatsoever to designate whether something is a sin or not. ONLY GOD can do that - and He has.

And, yes, God does forgive true confession and repentance. But the law is not so lenient: neither should it be. That's what civil law is all about. All the more why Yeshua's atoning sacrifice was such a gracious act of divine mercy.

"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
"Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
"And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God."
