I never saw anything wrong with it. Neat article, BTW, Nancy.

For those who would object to certain types of music being used in church, I would present a lesson from history. There have always been struggles to introduce changes to the way worship is conducted. In the Dark Ages, the idea of having any sort of rhythm in music was anathema. The conservative elements of the Church wanted to stick exclusively with chants.

Yet I can't imagine why anyone would object to the idea of giving the people in the pews at least SOMETHING in the service that they can relate to in their lives outside of church. I would think it would encourage them to think more religion-related thoughts as they go through their daily lives.
