Very good question, that. I would like to think that he would have provided a serious counterbalance to the weirdness we see in such leaders in the black community like Al Sharpton and Louis Farrakhan (sp?).

King was killed when I was 10 years old. It wasn't much later that I started paying attention to "current affairs." It would have been terrific to have had him stay around, taking part in our nation's conversations on politics and race. He might could have saved America from a LOT of grief.
