I've not seen anyone comment on this story, and I sort of can't see how it relates to religion, beyond the fact that the kid was at Six Flags with a church group.
And seriously... why would this kid's family bother with suing the park? I know I would not -- he had absolutely no reason to believe he wasn't doing something extremely stupid and dangerous. What other "facts" might be discovered by this investigator?

What was so precious about the "missing" ball cap? And what person wears a ball cap in a "convertible" vehicle that travels at speeds up to 50 MPH? It sounds like a typical 17 year old not using common sense and paying an high ultimate price for not doing so. The family is the entity to pay the "collateral" costs of this lack of common sense.
