Are you vacationing in town or out of town? If in town the next two weekends, I encourage you and everyone else to go and experience GODSPELL at the Open Space Café Theatre on West Market Street. Opening night was June 12; future shows are June 19-21 and 26-28 at 8:00pm, June 22 at 2:00pm. Each of the eleven actors gives an outstanding performance. Each musical number seemed better than the one before it and I’ve found myself humming the song lyrics over and over. GODSPELL offers a contemporary view of parables recorded in the Gospel of Matthew and appeals to young and old alike. Do yourself a favor, go and catch the spirit and energy of GODSPELL.
