Christians rumble with Hells Angels

UPDATE:
New comment: 'I love the lord. I choose to support the Hells Angels because of their loyalty and respect.'

Authorities this morning arrested eight members of a Christian biker gang known as Set Free Soldiers on charges of attempted murder in connection to a bar fight last week between the gang and members of the Hells Angels, according to Anaheim police.

This sounds like a clandestine type group to me.

Sounds like Paul's advice would have been instructive to these the Soldiers: "Do not be deceived: 'Evil company corrupts good habits.' Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God." (I Cor. 15:33,34)

If these guys are a legit ministry, they apparently let their guard down in this scenario, and fell into a default mode. Their evangelistic taget group sounds like it would include those who had a lot of experience interacting in a violent manner - case in point. Perhaps they just had a bad ministry day. After all, Paul found himself in exceedingly violent situations in the course of his outreach. However, Paul sought to deliver people OUT of precarous, tempting lifestyes after they came to faith in Christ: sounds like maybe these guys want to have their cake and eat it too. May God bless them for their good intentions, and grant them much greater wisdom regarding how to live out their faith. At least they're not smug, churchy couch potatos.

Have these fine folks been introduced to the head man of the mighty Inca nation? This could either lead to peace on the street or a mass conversion or just a bloody fight.

Well, well, well!!! What do we have here? I thought God loved everybody? Do Christian bikers have the right to fight against anybody who doesn't support their ideals? I am a strong supporter of the Hell's Angels and I call this Christian bogus!!! "Vengeance is mine!" saith the Lord.

CHRIST'S FONDATION FOR ALLOWING US TO COME TO GOD OURSELVES IN PRAYER WAS BECAUSE: WILE WE ARE IN THESE BODIES WE ARE OF THE FLESH, FLAWED. IMPERFECT; SO THE SACRIFICE CHRIST MADE ALLOWED US TO AMEND THE BREAK WITH GOD TO ONCE AGAIN COME TO HIM IN PRAYER AND OFFER UP OUR SINS.
However, this DOES NOT mean we can keep repeating these sins knowing they are wrong as if we have a "get out of Hell free card."(Pardon the pun) We as Christian's Are supposed to truly commit ourselves to NOT repeating those sins. Christ knew we would fail time and again, needing to be forgiven. Which is why we have a Bible to be ever conscious of what God wants for us, Christ's example of how WE SHOULD react.
Hopefully all involved regret the occurence. I know many bikers myself, both that ride in Christian groups and others mentioned here, that I've known since childhood. Honestly I can't see any of them behaving like this and NOT regretting it. It was truly unfortunate. I Pray for ALL involved and for their health.

I am a christian involved in the menonite church (not the black hat menonites who live amish). I am a supporter of the Hells Angels, I don't choose a lifestyle of crime, I love the lord. I choose to support the Hells Angels because of their loyalty and respect. I know that some are involved in crime, but hey, so are some so called preachers, right? My best friend and the person who I would trust 100% with my life is and ex-Hells Angel and I've known other Hells Angels, I am treated with respect and dignity around them. I've been to many churches where you walk in and people stare at you and judge you like you do not fit in and they act stuck up and snobbish. I wonder who is acting more like a christian. A real Hells Angel who is more than a thug on a bike will defend you no matter what. If I'm at my friends house and someone is drinking and I do not want to, no one would dare say anything about it. If someone did, they would simply tell them, hey if he doesn't want to drink then that's fine, we bought a case of Coke for him, that's what he likes. The respect thing goes for everyone to be who they are and not give into what everyone else is doing. They would lose respect for me if I said, hey I want to get drunk cause everyone else is. Now I will drink a beer now and again, but they will never pressure me into anything. If they are going somewhere and I don't feel comfortable, they they will have no problem changing their plans or going without me if I give my blessing. Oh ya, sometimes we just sit and discuss the bible and do readings, and pray to. I almost forgot, we play guitar and sing. Beleive it or not they do not have a problem with gospel music. They will accept people for who they are, that is what they respect. What people do wrong is, get around them and try to act like them, then they will test you. They do not like phonies, they are very acceptable to people who will stand up for what they beleive and not give in. If someone would come up to me and try to pressure me into something, I'd say no, sorry that's not my style. They might say, come on whimp, what are you. I'd say, I told you it's not my style, now drop it. Then if they persisted, someone would put them in their place. Or they would say, alright, your cool, I was just tryin to see what your made of. Where other people also have problems is not showing due respect to others. They give respect and expect others to respect them as well. That doesn't mean that you have to agree with everyhing, but just respect their rights. I've never once had a problem and I have asked them to take me home cause I don't feel comfortable or something. They will appologise and try to change it for me. I love my church and love the people there, but I have been to many churches that they would never give this kind of respect or consideration. Christianity is a relationship with God, not a rulebook. Now I'm not saying that they all are christians, I'm just saying that some of them act more like christians than the christians do. Oh ya, if your wife is ever broke down and 100 SUV's went by and 100 bikes. Ok that would never happen, you'd probably only get a bike or two before someone stopped to help. I'm not saying that every Hells Angel or biker in general is like this, I'm saying that for the most part they are. There are bad apples in every bunch. Thank you for taking the time to read and understand.
