Young voters and faith

Young voters seem to define their faith and values in significantly different ways than previous generations. A 2008 Harvard University poll found that 37 percent of young voters said that religion is a very important part of their lives, and it identified a group called "religious centrists" -- those who say they care deeply about the moral direction of the country -- as 25 percent of college-age voters.
While their parents were likely to be more concerned with abortion, same-sex marriage and stem cell issues, today’' young voters of faith are more likely to list poverty, the Iraq war and universal health care as key moral issues. How do you think this will affect the winner's priorities in office?

This looks encouraging to Atheists like me . . .
If 37 percent of young voters say that religion
is a very important part of their life, does that mean that 63 percent of young voters say
that religion is not a very important part of their life ???

This shift in "moral" issues simply reflects the dominance of liberation theology in universities and liberal churches. Young people are drilled from early on that baby murder (abortion) is not only OK, but desirable, in order to assure feminist women fo their careers opportunities and anti-family priorities. This is nothing but "religious" Marxism.

And poverty is another Marxist cover story. The real issue is redistribution of wealth by big-government. Now Herr Marx defines "moral," and not the Scriptures.

The anit-war Iraq deal is just an attempt to undermine America's hegemony in the world, the leading capitalist system; which is defined by Marxists as immoral because of their egalitarian fantasy world - always a failure and always oppressive.

Just because "young people" see things this way by NO MEANS makes if good or moral. Quite the opposite. Not because they are young people, per se, but because they have been brainwashed by the liberal, socialist educational monopoly into thinking in an anti-biblical, humanist manner.

But the seeds of godless Marxism/humanism are deeply imbedded in its very nature. It just takes a little time for it to implode - as it always has and always will. America is their arch-enemy because of its emphasis on personal freedom, Christain values, and the capitalist-free enterprize system; which ALWAYS succeeds and prospers when left to itself (with only rudimentary, necessary regulations), Christian values, and small, unitrusive government.

If Obama wins the election all this is very much in jeopardy, and the end of our free nation becomes a very real possiblity; as he is a dyed-in-the-wool Marxist. Just ask all his leftist friends, pastors, and politcal wonks.
