Oral Roberts University will lay off about 100 employees, days after it agreed to a near-$450,000 separation agreement with its former president who resigned amid a spending scandal.

Actually, I'm rather surprised the Oral Roberts U is still operating. But so far as the issue of the exec with the (at least) silver parachute as opposed to the poor folks who are out of a job -- that's just business in the USA. :(

Just another example of charismatic megolomania and geld-lust. The rule of St. Francis should be mandatory reading for every maga-church pastor and charismatic TV mogul. This is what happens when you combine shallow exegsis of Scripture with tongues-movement deception and access to the purse strings.
