Today I am meditating on the sacrifice Jesus made and that his father authored on the behalf of those who would put faith it that sacrifice.
Yesterday was the date that corresponds to the day on the Jewish calendar whe he actually celebrated the Lord's Evening meal with his discipes in the upper room and commanded to keep celebrating it in place of the Jewish passover. That Passover was an annual event so this Christian celebration should also be annual rather than weekly or monthly. It is the most sacred time for Christians and the memorial of his death is what he commanded to be celebrated and not his resurrection.
