And in case you were wondering ...

... that northeast Davidson County development was approved last night. Kory Dodd picked up the story for me since I was in Greensboro for the airport noise meetings.

And I'm sorry for it taking all day to get this up on the blog, but I was in Greensboro again today for some transportation meetings. Being a transportation reporter is among my non-North High Point/Jamestown duties, it also means I help maintain another of the paper's blogs at Fast Forward.

Jonathan,

How about a story regarding the opening of the new relocated Guilford College Road???? That's certainly (print) newsworthy, isn't it??

And, while you're writing the story, make sure to emphasize how much closer the Guilford College Road corridor now is to Ragsdale.

Numbers, it should've been in Friday's paper. I never looked at the print edition to make sure it was there. But will do that now.

Jonathan,

I might have missed it. Did you emphasize the shortened trip to Ragsdale?

It wasn't much Numbers, so it wouldn't surprise me if it was missed. Basically we just let people know that the change was coming. NCDOT engineers weren't available to answer questions so we didn't have a ton to work with.
