New Year's resolution for a more interactive blog

We haven't made any promises about losing weight. We won't make any about not smoking or even about spending less money.
But we will make one about creating a more active blog for residents concerned about issues in North High Point and Jamestown.

There's been a lot of transition here at the News & Record over the last few months. But we apologize for not posting as often as we should.
We hope to use this space to interact with readers on news items big and small. From the plans for the future Heart of the Triad project to the newest hair salon or nail place that's opened up near you.
We would also like to hear from you on what news you use.
Here's an item to start us off.
The steering committee for the Heart of the Triad project will meet with elected officials from all six governments - Guilford County, Forsyth County, Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem and Kernersville - on Jan. 29 at the Airport Marriott located at 1 Marriott Dr. in Greensboro. The meeting will start at 11:30 a.m.
