Office Depot opens North High Point store
While you were celebrating the holidays, Office Depot opened a new location in north High Point.
Located at 3900 Brian Jordan Place in the Palladium at Deep River shopping complex, the office supply store opened quietly on Dec. 31.
The store will hold its official grand opening on Feb. 11th.
The new store is close to north High Point business parks. Office Depot also has a location in High Point at 274 Eastchester Dr.
The new store is open Mon. through Fri. from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

I hear that Office depot is much less fun to work for vs. Staples but still better than 3rd place Office Max. Its kinda like the stupid hand popping out of the box vs. the easy button. Just a completely different culture and mentality. Here's another example, at the national Staples sales meeting last year, they (Staples) hired Sting play a concert for about 4000 of their employees whom they flew to vegas for a 25th anniversary celebration. Thanks for your comments. It is interesting to watch how each company sets itself apart in the industry and managing employees is part of the competition.
