She's the best, there is no doubt.
Anytime a writer can make me want to pick up the phone and offer a job to a deserving someone, even when I don't have a job to give, has achieved a lofty goal: with her words, she has hopefully made a positive impact on someone's life.
I sincerely hope McConico gets the break he deserves and, as a faithful reader, hope the N&R will follow up.

Great work, I can see why you pay her. I feel for McConico, not out of sympathy, but because my life has been-- and isn't far from-- the life he leads today.
