Like I said before. We should still follow Slashdot in the ways of rating articles. Ground up wise, it would probably be the best solution. Why? DailyKOS even wants to do it here http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/1/3/171930/8008
but he can't since that'd require a total rework of his blog code.
Just a suggestion before things start getting hairy code wise.
