Complete local coverage, sort of
Like everyone else, I applaud the efforts of Yes! Weekly in writing about blogs. (Although Lex's quotes cross the suck-up line.)
Still, riddle me this, Batman. The Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, the Associated Press, Business Week and, soon, The New York Times have been among the papers that have written about Greensboro and blogging. Other than Yes! where are the local papers?
Update: And Justin Catanoso, executive editor of The Business Journal, reminds me precisely where one of the local papers is. Mark Tosczak of his staff wrote about our efforts Jan. 14 (reg. req.). My bad.

At least the Rhino hasn't jumped on board. You would think the "PJ-clad bloggers" would be driving Hammer crazy with requests to have him on-board.

Well, not surprisingly, John did make fun of the blogging craze in a column, but I didn't count that as coverage.
Also, as I was updating this post, I mistakenly deleted a post by Anna in California. She asked whether we had written anything about the blogging revolution going on in our midst. I replied that I had written about our effort several times and about the national publicity once. That Allen Johnson had written about it. And that Ed Cone has written about blogging first on our pages, and has regularly written about developments in the blogosphere. We've also written about greensboro 101.com.

This is probably a bit beneath the radar circulation-wise, but UNCG's newspaper The Carolinian also carried my end of the year column about blogging which talked about GoRadio and the N&R blogs.
I'd be willing to bet, print and online included, more people at UNCG and more people at UNCG (certainly more students, anyhow) read The Carolinian than The Business Journal.

So who else is there? High Point? It's certainly not the sort of story that would run in Hamburger Square and Triad Internet Journal is, I think, gone.

Oh, I am thinking of Raleigh, Charlotte, Asheboro, Winston and High Point papers. When the NY Times, Wall Street Journal and LA Times find a news story in Greensboro, you might wonder why the papers closer in aren't interested.
