I posted this on the "Inside Scoop."- a Melvin bobble head is going to be on my dresser for life! If I were blessed with the use of monies and power afforded Jim Melvin, Greensboro would be a much poorer community. I wonder who could say they loved their community more than him.
We are all better off for having leaders like Jim Melvin among us. I don't know if he has always been right about every project, (like the stadium), but it is clear that he has spent his professional life for Greensboro's greater good.

Actually, John -- the Melvin Bobblehead is free, but you have to pay for upkeep and maintenance on it, which I can't tell you how much it is going to be.

Chip, Mr. Melvin is in charge of the late Joe Byran's money, it's not his. He may be a visionary and at least now he has the money to pull it off. You can't say the same for his previous efforts.

Yes Don, and I reiterate that if the administration and distribution of monies were in most anyone else's hands, Greensboro would not be as nice of a place to live.
He is not only a visionary, he is a leader. Say what you mean....
