Re: the "chance to get a word before the high and mighty", it would be nice if I really believed that John.
How about the status of the "disproportionate share" investigation and/or settlement negotiations with the Federal government? It's only a billion dollars of taxpayer's money.
How about, "a local Pediatrician and former National Health Service Corps/NC Rural Health provider contacted your Attorney General's office for the second time on Friday, because she is being stone-walled by the DA in Asheboro on a proper investigation, by qualified law enforcment officials, of perjury and obstruction allegations against two not-for-profit hospital administrators". We are informed she wrote your office last year and asked for intervention. With all of the talk about accountability and ethics in government, and "reform" in healthcare what is your office prepared to do to address the allegations?
Feel free to forward the questions on to Mark. I won't hold my breath though - because if I did, it would likely be a blue Christmas.
