Imagine
Dave Winer has some advice for John Edwards.
1. Start a program to help people in North Carolina who aren't blogging to start blogging. (It's just as important as voter registration.)
2. Help the elected officials in North Carolina (start with our old friend Howard Coble) learn how to read the blogs.

And he should add this:
4. Get some political experience. Serving as a do-nothing "Senator" while campaigning for President/VP with no prior experience does not make you a politician.

Just to be clear: my post was intended to highlight the idea of citizen blogging and elected officials reading blogs, not the political side of the equation.

Bloggers on the whole are pretty savy people and the politicians would do well to read them. Those who blog on politics and world affairs in particular make a point of being well informed. and jaycee it's nice that you took a slap[ at edwards so now I don't have too. That is one man who has a great deal to learn.
