Love that American Idol

I know that I'm not supposed to say this, but, honestly, the newsroom breathed a collective sigh of relief when the 24 finalists in American Idol were announced last night. Not a single one hails from North Carolina. After Fantasia, Bucky, Kellie and Chris -- among others --we had had enough of tracking their progress week after week.

I guess WGHP will need to find some other Idol connection. May be one of finalists lived in the area, went to school here, has a significant other or relative near-by.

Meanwhile look at the home-town / location of FOX owned and operated station links and other fun conspiracies that surround the show.

And pity poor Lenslinger, no trips to Hollywood this year... unless they can get that local connection going.

Judging by the competition, I expect this to be the most disappointing Idol season thus far.

I think the contestant of this season are good!
