Get rich quick
I know that you have some ideas about what newspapers should be; you tell me pretty often. Now here's your chance to make some money off them.
The Southern Newspaper Publishers Association is seeking the best and the brightest take on what "newspapers" will look like in 10 years. We're looking for revolutionary inventions that connect and engage readers by redefining how news is presented.
Start with a blank slate, a white sheet of paper, or a dark computer screen, and go from there. Anyone can enter. The cash prize for the winning entry is $2,000. Deadline for entries is September 15, 2007.

"Start with a blank slate..."
I think you can stop there, too.
Newspapers are almost extinct now, no need for them, really, with 24/7 news networks, news on your IPhone or Blackberry. Soon we'll see news on your wristwatch, or by implant.
Mr. Robinson, what's your back-up profession?

I hope you're not a business advisor, jaycee. We're making money in other ways than the print publication. There'll always be a place for journalists. If you don't think so, stop reading newspapers, watching TV news, coming to this blog or viewing any revenue-based news on your IPhone or Blackberry for a week or so and see whether it satisfies you.

Jaycee, that was my idea a blank paper.
I like my newspaper. If it could get the back to printing the news, as it is, and not how they want it to be, I think they would be fine. However, as long as you got people like Doug Clark, that even wants a drunk driver to go.
And let a person* like Tolley get in front of children, and show the world you can get away with anything, if you have the clot, is what po paper readers. This has been the hot topic on the golf course, since it can out. Everyone feels this bs.Drunk driving is a serious thing. Tolley should be put on the road in a orange suit and let the children see him.
