Editorial comments

Allen Johnson announced yesterday that you can now comment on newspaper editorials. It is worth repeating here.

While I'm not part of the editorial board, I know its process and people well enough to know that there are two parts to this. One is reactive: The editorial board writes and people respond. The other is proactive: Your responses are read and, when it comes time to revisit the editorial topic, considered. A well-reasoned response is helpful.

There are six sides to every argument. Voice yours.

I hardly see the point.

From corrupt "non-profits" to annexation wars, I am blogging my butt off about what is going on down in Randolph County (an area the N&R supposedly covers), but you've deleted me from your local "links of interest" (thanks for responding to that e-mail). And God knows the Courier Tribune doesn't want the general populace to know this stuff.

So tell me JR, what's the point of commenting on your editorials?

Voices schmoices. Citizen journalism? Please. I cannot wait for FOX news to take over the N&R and show you the door (not that I really expect them to care either).

Is she a real doctor or is that just what she calls herself?

She real interesting, I enjoy her work. However I disagree on firing folks because a new owner takes over. Saying that however the liberal press does not want you to know about local democrat shams. Look at the mind squandering money on mental health in this state. Where Mark Binker on this, hell it was the talk of Raleigh this week end. Guess he missed it. And for Gods sakes do not write a lte, defending our brave troops. Saying that I thank the NR for letting us have our say on their lte, not many papers do that. That's why I buy the paper. Have a good day folks it getting close to tee times. Then I got to come home and work on the #@%$^^ taxes. Of course if I play as bad today as I did yesterday, taxes maybe more fun.(NOT)

Why don't you decide for yourself?

Answer the question JR! Did you banned her or are you dodging the question like a establishment candiate seeking office?

Lighten up, Connie Mack. Bubba asked a question and I answered him. I thought that response would have answered yours, too. But to be clearer, yes.

I don't read silent minds from others JR. Of course we all know Dr Mary is one great doctor, but the banning question fads into the dark side of cyberspace....And chill out about the instant deleting.....You are starting to act and sound like Ed Lite.
