Not a joke

The multiple talents of reporters. First, Taft Wireback sings. Now Tom Keller cracks wise. See for yourselves.

At 10 p.m. tomorrow, Tom is competing in the Ultimate Comic Challenge at the Idiot Box on Elm Street. And here your vote counts. Go jeer him on.

Sunday Update: Tom advanced to the next round! So cheer him on this coming Friday.

I've heard of this Keller guy. No-talent hack. Don't waste your time.

Joe Scott said:

I haven't seen Tom around at any of the comedy clubs in town, but he's got some serious competition coming his way. If a victory is in his cards, it won't be an easy one. Greensboro's got the funny, and a lot of it.

-Joe Scott

P.S. What is a N&R reporter doing competing in an event financed by Yes Weekly? If he won the $1000, wouldn't he technically be on the payroll of both newspapers? Talk about a conflict of interest....
