You can shake a lot of tree with that kind of money. Bring down a lot of nuts, too.

Even after your dismissal of the NE as being tabloid trash was proven to be wrong, you just can't quit bashing them for telling the truth about another corrupt Democrat, can you?

The NO by their own admission took a dive on this story? Wonder how much the Liberals in Raleigh paid them? Wonder if the papers in NC took a little pay off, for not reporting on where the 750 million dollars taken that was to go to schools? Of course the NE had to spend money to get this story. So I have no problem with them, making money off it.
Wonder if the NO would have buried this story if it had been about a republican? Whole lot of what if ?

Hum, sounds like a whiny loser to me, John. $50,000 or not, they scooped the world on this story that had some significance with Edwards as a presidential candidate. The NE embarrassed the entire MSM that was looking the other way, unless Johnny called them and asked them not to report on his affair because his wife was seriously ill. Of course, Edwards was the N-R candidate of choice, wasn't it? How does it feel to be scooped right in your backyard by a supermarket tabloid, as Johnny calls them?
