Who would want some kind of boring old fuddy-duddy newspaper who would for instance most likely support a police chief ridding his dept. of pimps and scoundrels, when you can have one that supports and aids getting rid of the chief???

John, if wanting to know "why" someone posts on these blogs, or any blog, was a game subject for discussion, I would wager there wouldn't be time for anything else to be discussed. (As for the "clever" part, that seems to be your cognition). It maybe simply be because one hates to see cyber space go to waste.
Maybe interesting to ponder why one would find it necessary to post what you did above. Let's spend some time doing that. You first.

Skeet, we've discussed it before and no need to discuss it again. I only wanted other visitors not to be thrown off by the various postings of different sign ons.

Visitors getting "thrown off" ???? You're right, John. There is no greater sin, that I can think of at the moment, anyway. Sure wouldn't want that.
It's kind of, I don't know, sad in a way. Everyday you have pages and pages of print, presumably fashioned in some way by yourself, even if only subliminally and unconsiously- seemingly your own bully sandbox, and here you are intimidated by a few lines scrawled on a blog in a forgotten corner of the galaxy.
Go figure.
