Citizen Obama, indeed
Over at Capital Beat, Binker collects information about Prez-elect Obama's citizenship. Who knew it was even an issue? (Well, we did, as evidenced by this comment.)
Still, the idea that Obama is not a citizen of the United States is pretty much debunked. Not that that will stop true disbelievers. Political partisanship is a powerful thing.

In the last few weeks we've seen The One backtrack on many of his promises about what he'd do once elected. His lies are coming out and even the Democratic voters are learning just how badly he misled them.
Why should we believe anything Obama has said previously about his citizenship, religion, or anything else? Everyday he's proving himself to be just another Democratic liar.

Hey Jaycee, don't forget to keep us posted on what happens with the December 1st deadline for Obama to turn over his birth certificate to the Supreme Court.

Well, one reason you might should believe him is that it appears that there is tangible documentation of his citizenship, Jaycee.
But aside from that, why did you qualify your criticism of Obama by calling him a "Democratic" liar? Are you suggesting that Republicans don't backtrack on promises or that they just do it differently than Democrats?

Why will he not present a valid birth certificate that can be verified! JR, doesn't that get a reporters juices flowing, hell if it were Palin there'd be 100 lawyers in Alaska trying to find one, and of course, it'd be on the front page of the N&R! Beau

I wasn't happy when the Supreme Court handed GW Bush the Presidency in 2000. And I was a bit of a sore loser about it. But Obama (by comparison) won in an electoral landslide! Nothing but the pure votes of the people elected this outstanding AMERICAN CITIZEN to be the 44th President of the United States.
Here you go, prima facie evidence of his Hawaiian birth certificate.
Dear Obama-haters: Please stop whining about lies, because I don't think Republicans have a leg to stand on when it comes to evaluating "the truth." WMD in Iraq? Still haven't found any? And why did we invade that country?

Kevin, you need to look at facts and quit listening to Democratic liars.

jaycee:
you need to stop trolling blogs. and look at http://fightthesmears.com/articles/5/birthcertificate
and you can show me all the bs foxnews faxes all you want.
The basis for going to war was "intelligence" by a source nicknamed Curve-ball. CNN found Curve-ball and he said he told people what they wanted to hear (about WMD in Iraq). In the same article CNN reiterates that no WMD were found in Iraq.
WOW you have a FoxNews link that supports your claim... only it looks like something my 9-year-old niece scanned
You and your willfully ignorant faux-patriots need to accept President Barrack HUSSEIN Obama, Jr. as your Commander-in-Chief or you may spiral into obsessive insanity... oh wait,it may be too late.

And one more thing jaycee,
The "munitions" that were discussed in the piece-of-crap fax you linked to were most likely weapons buried during the Iran-Iraq War that a few Polish troops found, publicized and later retracted. Turned out they didn't actually have chemical weapons residue, but a bunch of hungry Iraqis (thinking they might score a big reward if they convinced someone that they were WMDs) who tried to pull one over on Coalition Forces. And if you will research further, you will find that whenever our own military reported they had "found WMD" in the immediate aftermath of the invasion, the claim had to be retracted and to-date there STILL haven't been any credible findings of WMD in Iraq.

Kevin, apparently you have a reading comprehension problem.
The document I cited is from the United States House of Representatives, Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
Apparently you also have a retention problem when it comes to facts about the reasons for the liberation of Iraq. The FACT that Iraq had used WMD's and continued to forge ahead with it's WMD program was just ONE of many reasons regime change was undertaken.
And since you prefer the claims of Dems over Republicans, please peruse this documentation of the Dems support for regime change in Iraq: http://www.snopes.com/politics/war/wmdquotes.asp

There were prominent business moguls (DuPont, JP Morgan, Rockefeller, Pew) in the United States in the 1930's who were involved with the "Liberty League," a Nazi front organization who preached racial purity and wholesome living during the hard times of the Great Depression. The "Liberty League" eventually planned to overthrow Roosevelt and ally with Germany just before the invasion of Czechoslovakia. Luckily their attempts failed.
People have made mistakes, even BEEN WRONG, but that does not disqualify them if they refine their opinions (based on facts) and even reject their former beliefs.
Rhetoric is not logic.
You can live in the past as long as you want, jaycee. But it's still not going to change the fact that Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. is the 44th President of the United States of America. And knowing that that is eating you up inside is pure joy.

Ah, Kevin...now I understand.
Any evidence you characterize as "most likely" and "piece of crap" and "pull one over" and "had to be retracted."
Yep, I know where you're coming from, my friend.
I think the only thing "buried" is your head---in the sand.
