The Obama connection

We are selling yesterday's front section today. We are printing a poster page of president-elect Obama for distribution in the paper Saturday. We'll have more reaction and reflection throughout the week.

Over at goTriadU.com, students share some thoughts.

However, I feel that in this election, the youth of America -- my peers and myself included -- looked around us and saw this economic disaster, saw these preemptive wars, saw rights that could be taken unjustly from those who deserve them, saw the manner in which the United States was viewed globally, and realized the need for change and new politics in the White House.

It's a shame those same students don't understand the roots of the conditions they want to change.
With a bit of research, they can trace them directly to the last disastrous Democratic administration.

Just curious, Mr. Robinson, will you print a poster page if Obama is impeached, indicted, or otherwise has to leave the presidency?

Did anyone ask any of these "students" exactly what "rights" they have lost? Has anyone been forced to give their 401-K as Der Furher intends to happen? How about the right yo a secret ballot for union elections? Has anyone lost that right? Oh, sorry, that what der Furher plans for his subjects.

How about the revisiting of the "Fairness? Doctrine? Can't have dissent in the new America! I wonder if the News & Record is going to report that 100% of black female voters, and 94 or 96% of black male voters voted a straight Demo-Rat ticket. Talk about a whole lot of people sharing a single mind.

The only places we've such monolithy were the Soviet Union, North Korea, Iraq, and similar Utopias! If the "students" would spend less time binge drinking and protesting (do they have the right to do that!), and more time getting informed, they would find out that Hope and Change are policies, but mere useless slogans. You Hope you don't the Change that appears to be on the way!

I gave him 24 hours also. I just read were one of his liberal professors wants to nationalize our 401 k. Check this liberals website if you doubt it. Teresa Ghilarducci.com.
Move on dot org, said we own you, we raised 88 million dollars for you.
Look at the things they demand.
When Bush was elected in 2000, the stock market dipped. The liberal press was screaming Bushes economy. Now that we have had 2 straight days of major drops, not one peek from the liberal media. Just like the corruption in Raleigh, what Obama does will be slanted are ignored.
