Sue points to reports of Hoder's possible arrest.

I was looking forward to meeting him at ConvergeSouth in 2005, but then this happened, and he didn't make it.

Sigh.

Wendy Warren, once a ConvergeSouth presenter and still a cool person, has been named editor of Philly.com. Wendy was an assistant managing editor at the Philadelphia Daily News. More personally, she is the daughter of my friend, Bill Warren, former managing editor of The Roanoke Times.

ConvergeSouth 2008 will be Oct. 16-17, followed by -- connected with -- a BlogHer Reach Out Tour on the 18th. It just keeps on growing!
