Regarding the graffiti showing up in Greensboro (letter, March 26):
I know that this is a problem the city of Tucson, Ariz., has to deal with frequently. They have a separate department set up within the police department that handles the calls, and within a couple of days the graffiti is painted over. The police department says there are groups of graffiti artists that travel from city to city showcasing their artwork. Eventually they move on.

Patricia, thats the problem, the little bastards MOVE ON. They need to be caught, and THEY should have to buy the paint and do the labor, not taxpayers and city employees.
If anyone from the Arts council wanted to be involved to see if any REAL talent existed, then that would be fine too.
I'm all about 2nd chances.

Cut off their hands and let them paint the walls with their own blood.
My main problem is that these 'artists' make their letters so stylized, I can't even read what they are writing. Then again, that may be a good thing.
