Taking the high road?

I sincerely hope that Councilwoman Dianne Bellamy-Small requested Officer M.J. Calvert's business card so that she could praise him for doing such a fantastic job. Checking for speeders could possibly lead to an arrest, especially near midnight. I am so glad that Ms. Bellamy-Small has taken the high road.

DBS should resign. But then again, so should Bush and Cheney. Hell will freeze over before any of them do that. Newt Gingrich was on to something when he said we should use "shame" on people.

I agree: humiliation as a punishment is underused in our justice system. Unfortunately, I doubt that Ms. Bellamy-Small would be embarrassed about anything, even dancing naked on a table in a bar. And her figure is no better than mine.

Hey, David ... can you hook me up with your dealer?

That musta been blazin' some damn fine skunk when you wrote that letter, dude!
