Stranger than fiction, cont.
Remember Mary Kay LeTourneau, the former teacher who served time in prison for having sex with a then-12-year-old pupil?
She has done her time, and she and the ex-pupil, now 22, are getting married.
Stuff like this is why I don't write fiction. If you wrote a novel with this storyline, no one would believe it.

What's strange to me is that you thought they might not. Tidbits have been dropped by most major news outlets referring to this - most recently, an interview with the husband-to-be about it. I figure life *is* stranger than anything we can make up.

Actually, Sue, it's less like I thought they might not and more like I, um, wasn't paying attention? Didn't care? Something like that.
Still and all: Eww. Ick.

"Still and all: Eww. Ick."
That sums it up in a nutshell.
