I propose legislation mandating availablity of BK Western Bacon Cheeseburgers. The advertising is so effective that our citizenry is compelled to seek them out. I see this as a cry for help. A referendum on this issue would soar through any governmental body along with its attendant pork. Give the people what they want.

That's a sad indicator of how much some people believe that the government should control everything.
Of course, this was in California...
If you think that's bad, you should spend some time in the Emergency Room and see how that's abused by people who think the hospital has an obligation to take care of their everyday medical needs for free, no matter how minor or what time of day or night.

John, I've spent enough time in ERs in my life, as reporter and as patient, that I really don't want to have to go to one again. But thanks for the offer. :-)
