Moose Cafe opening is a reason to celebrate!

I was scrolling through the Biz Buzz blog when I came across an entry about the Moose Cafe opening up here:

A full-service restaurant will open next month at the Piedmont Triad Farmers Market.
The Moose Cafe, a restaurant at the Asheville-area farmers market, plans to expand with a branch at the Colfax daily market that serves the Triad. The restaurant, which could employ about 60 local people, will be open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week and for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.

I can't wait! My husband and I took a trip to Asheville maybe two years ago, and we happened to eat at the Moose Cafe while in town. It was one of the best Southern food restaurants I have ever happened across! The biscuits were huge, flaky and melt-in-your-mouth good. The apple buttter was amazing, and my chicken-fried steak was one of the best I've ever had.

The restaurant in Asheville has been noticed by others, too. It's been featured in "Southern Living Magazine," which is what made us stop in. If you google Moose Cafe, Asheville, you'll get dozens of hits about its food -- did I mention the biscuits?

If the one that opens up here is half as good as the one in Asheville, you'll see me there quite a bit.
