OK, I've already exposed the 98.7 Simon radio renaming as a big marketing scheme.
But now I thought I'd just complain that the radio is also guilty of false advertising.
They claim "we play everything."
I reply, "No, you don't."
If they truly do play everything, here's what I want to hear from them:
"New World Order" by Ministry
followed by "Goodbye Earl" by the Dixie Chicks
followed by "Yertle the Turtle" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers
followed by "St. Alphonso's Pancake Breakfast" by Frank Zappa
followed by "Breathe" by Faith Hill
followed by "Ticks and Leeches" by Tool
followed by "Rum Tum Tugger" from the Cats Sountrack
followed by "Human Cannonball" by Butthole Surfers
followed by ... do I make my point?
Simon says they play everything, but they really don't.
And they can stop playing Milli Vanilli, too.
