Nothing new

Have you listened to the radio lately? Where's the next Kurt Cobain when we need him?

We need something new.

I quit listening to radio long ago. Internet streaming like Launchcast, or satelite radio is where its at. Then you need to get yourself a righteous festival, like this one in Austin:

Check out upcoming bands like Mofro, Slightly Stoopid, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Ben Harper. There is alot of talent out there, you just won't find it on the radio. Festivals like Coachella, ACLfest , Bonnaroo, are featuring so many bands not in the mainstream radio, anywhere, and yet people are flocking to these places. The tide is turning, just seems radio is being left behind in the dust.

I couldn't agree more with Marko486. If radio ain't already dead, it sure does smell funny. The internet radio stations found out there via itunes etc. not only offer you great independent music the corporates wouldn't dare air. Not into indie music? No problem--you can also find whatever music you *did* like at one time or another--and get it commercial-free.

Commercial radio has sucked, IMNSHO, for more than 30 years now...

Coming Soon

I'm sad to say the Musical Garbage Can will be leaving GoTriad on or about March 23. It will go back to its original home at Blogspot here. Thank you for your continued support!
