The other day, I was reading an interview with Billy Corgan (former lead singer of Smashing Pumpkins) and he was stating that there's no way he would reunite the band.
Now, comes word that he does in fact want to reunite.
Maybe he realized his solo act was going nowhere fast. Who knows - either way, it would be nice if the band reunited and got back to their old school rock.
The band was originally comprised of Corgan, guitarist James Iha, bassist D'arcy Wretzky and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin.
Wretzky was then replaced by Melissa Auf Der Maur.
The band hasn't performed together since 2000.
