A review of the Live 8 Pink Floyd performance suggests that guitarist David Gilmour recently turned down $200 million to tour the U.S.
My only hope is that the guys had so much fun performing together, that they'll tour in some form or another in the near future.
We can only hope...

I was a floyd fan , back in my youth,, even saw them , sans Gilmour back in the 80's. But check out this version of Dark Side Of the Moon,, called , appropriately , Dub Side Of the Moon, by the easy star all stars.

Totally re-done in reggae. Sounds hokie , but it was done right, i can never go back to the old one now. Outstanding tracks, Us and Them , and Time

I, too, hope the members of Pink Floyd will decide to tour, even if there's no new album or anything like that. I saw them live in '94, but I'd love to see Waters back with them.
If Live 8 turns out to be the final Pink Floyd performance, that wouldn't be such a terrible thing. But a farewell tour would allow them to end the band on the highest note possible - not to mention it would allow a substantial number of younger people who never got the chance to see them live an opportunity to experience them in concert.
