Question of the month

Why is it that MTV finds a need to mute the word "drugs" in The Transplants' lyrics, "Some of my friends sell records, some of my friends sell drugs," but has no problem with 50 Cent singing, "I'll let you lick the lollipop, keep going till you hit the spot"?

Does anyone else see a problem with this?

I don't have a problem with either artist/band - I have both their albums - but I don't understand why graphic sex talk is ok, and the simple word drugs is not.

yeah, it implies we need more sex than drugs. After all the fantasizing and sex though, most of us need durgs...

Coming Soon

I'm sad to say the Musical Garbage Can will be leaving GoTriad on or about March 23. It will go back to its original home at Blogspot here. Thank you for your continued support!
