I'm looking forward to seeing the Rolling Stones live. I've never seen them before.
Having said that, these guys are old. Keith Richards jokes aside, when I see photos of the band these days, I'm amazed that they still do what they do.
Their tour recently kicked off in Boston and reviews are good.
I heard the first single off their new album on Yahoo! Launchcast yesterday and was pleasantly surprised.
I thought it was a song from back in their heyday, but it wasn't. That's good news.
The bad news is that idiots are going to their concerts.
Maybe idiot is a harsh word, but how else would you describe a 20-year-old woman who climbs the rafters?
She fell. She broke her ankles and a wrist and is lucky she wasn't killed. That's what you call, "thinning the herd."
She would have landed herself a Darwin Award, but instead she has a story to tell her kids.
"One time, Mommy went to a Rolling Stones concert and climbed the rafters.... That's why I have these scars. Don't be like Mommy...."
Poor kids...
