« CD Review: Killer Queen "A Tribute to Queen" | Main | Ozzfest; Ministry; Fiona Apple »

This week's new releases

311 "Don't Tread on Me" - To me, the band has gotten progressively worse with each album. However, the first single I heard off the new album, actually wasn't too bad. It remains to be seen if the band can "return to form."

Aly & A.J. "Into the Rush" - I have no idea who these two are, but if I had to guess, I'd say they have a show on Nickelodeon or Disney. Call them the next Lindsay Duff or Hillary Lohan, or whatever their names are....

Common "Be" (Instrumental version) - Another one for the karaoke crowd, I guess...

Cowboy Junkies "Early 21st Century Blues" - A little two mellow for my taste...

Rick James "Forever" - ...I know what his name is... Another one of those, cash in on their death albums...

The Killers "Hot Fuss" (limited edition) - Over-rated (clap, clap, clap-clap-clap) Over-rated ...

Pras "Win, Lose or Draw" - Still waiting on that Fugees reunion...

Stryper "Reborn" - There's no better reason for a comeback, unless you weren't good the first time around.

Taproot "Blue Sky Research" - I like them, even if they do sound a lot like Filter... probably because I like Filter, too.

Of course, the band with animal names: Circus (?), Oxes (shouldn't it be Oxen?)

Coming Soon

I'm sad to say the Musical Garbage Can will be leaving GoTriad on or about March 23. It will go back to its original home at Blogspot here. Thank you for your continued support!
