Here's a look at some of this week's new releases:
Bad Religion "Tested" - I'm glad to see these guys are still making albums. I haven't heard anything new from the punkers in a while, so it may be worth checking out.
Dave Matthews "The Best of What's Around Vol. 1" - Does he really need to issue a greatest hits collection? Seriously, just go buy one of his live albums.
Foo Fighters "Skin and Bones" - A live CD of their 2006 acoustic tour should be a great album.
Nonpoint "Live and Kicking" - The band's high energy shows can't exactly be captured on CD, but this has got to be close.
Sugarland "Enjoy the Ride" - It's still difficult to believe the success Jennifer Nettles has with her country band. I think she was much better as a solo artist, but sometimes you have to go where the paycheck takes you.
As always, the bands with animal-related names releasing albums this week are: Adam & The Ants, The Cat Empire, El Perro Del Mar, Jellyfish
